Heavy-gauge vapor barriers, sealed foundation vents, and a dedicated sump discharge line so your Flora, IN crawl space stops feeding moisture into the floor joists above it.
A rushed encapsulation job with unsealed seams or unwrapped piers looks fine on day one and fails within a season. We treat seam sealing and pier wrapping as core parts of the install, not optional add-ons that get skipped to save time.
Every crew member is trained specifically on liner installation, seam sealing, and vent encapsulation, not general basement work.
Flora, IN crawl space calls get scheduled fast, especially when there's standing water or an active mold smell involved.
No hourly billing — the number we quote is the number on the final invoice.
A dedicated crawl space dehumidifier is sized to your square footage, not a one-size-fits-all unit.
Every Flora, IN Crawl Space Encapsulation job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
Extraction equipment includes submersible pumps sized for tight crawl space access points.
Liner thickness is selected based on foot traffic and how the space will be used going forward, not a flat default.
Open foundation vents pull in humid outside air, which is often the real driver of Flora, IN crawl space condensation — we seal them as part of encapsulation.
A crawl space needs its own sump basin and discharge line separate from any basement system, since the two spaces drain differently.
Exposed ductwork inside an unencapsulated crawl space collects condensation, which we address by insulating and sealing ducts while the space is open.
We ask about standing water, musty odor, and vent condition to gauge scope before scheduling the inspection.
A technician physically enters the space to check for standing water, existing liner condition, vent count, and duct exposure.
You'll see square footage, liner grade, vent sealing, and dehumidifier specs broken out in the written estimate.
We re-test humidity after installation to confirm the space is holding at a healthy level before we consider the job done.
